dangerous toys

Does anyone else let their baby play with knives (just butter), straws, forks, pens, dog toys, electronics, candles, etc?  Just about the only thing off limits to my kid is climbing on the fireplace.

....what is a blog anyway.  I can just write anything I want and hit 'publish' and then the words I typed will be in cyberspace?  How did I become a grandmother before I became a mom?  As a 28 year old, shouldn't I know what exactly a blog is?  Blog is a word that I have heard for years, but the only thing I know about a ...blog....is that is is just about as fun to say as "salsa" but less fun than imitating Dave Chapelle when he says "I'm riach biach!" ...for some reason that is so o o fun to say.
